Preventing the Pileup :: What to Do with ALL that Laundry

Laundry.

I can’t even speak the word without thinking of the neglected piles sitting on my couch. And bed. And dresser.

The piles that have been there for two days now.

It’s funny how I am home now more than I ever have been since leaving my day job, yet the laundry still accumulates. Even though right after our second daughter was born, I stayed on top of the beast that is laundry. I gave myself a pat on the back (and made sure my family knew) that I was doing one or two loads a day. I was on top of it all! I was domestic!

Until I got behind.

And now, piles of laundry greet me from every room, everyday.

Although it’s {clearly} obvious which pile is dirty and which is clean, can you guess what both piles have in common?

Laundry Pileup

Both have been sitting in the same spot for one week.

Now, before you judge, I got behind from being out of town and both kids were sick and I had a particularly busier than normal week. {and I just really hate putting away laundry}.

In the BagBut apparently I’m not the only one who lets it pile, as evidenced by our latest Facebook Poll .

Anyway, for Mother’s Day this year, I’ve been begging for a laundry fairy. And though I’ve been told there is no such thing, there is something that comes really super close. You’ve heard of In the Bag Cleaners, yes? Did you know they have a Laundry Club?

You can get your laundry done in only 4 minutes per week! Two minutes to drop it off and two minutes to pick it up from In The Bag Cleaners. With 15 Wichita locations, this family owned Wichita business has you covered when it comes to regular wash and fold laundry. And if you are too busy to drop it off, for the same price, your laundry can be picked up and delivered to your home or office twice per week

Here’s how it works –  as a loyal reader of Wichita Mom’s Blog, your first bag of laundry is completely FREE!! For the first order, fill In the Bag Cleanersup TWO 13 gallon kitchen trash bags full of your regular laundry. That can be socks, shirts, underwear, towels, sheets – anything you put into your washer at home. Your first order will be returned with one of their convenient Laundry Club bags that you can use for all future orders. If you need additional bags, let them know and they can provide additional bags for a nominal $5 charge. They wrap your clothes in a nice sanitary white paper and keep women’s undergarments packaged in separate baggies.

The cleaning and folding are top notch – you’re guaranteed to LOVE this service! And instead of the endless loads of laundry each weekend, you can spend your time enjoying your family and have some relaxation in your life! Give it a shot – no contracts. No commitments. Everything you can shove in the bag for $27.75. All they ask is that if you love this service, tell your family and friends!!
