Are you a local mom with something to say? A funny story to share? Something you think would be helpful to other local moms? We welcome submissions for guest posts!

{Note: We do NOT accept “guest post” marketing pitches from copywriters looking to exchange content for links, from writers affiliated with other sites or businesses, or from non-Wichita-area writers. Due to a large increase in these kind of guest post pitches, we are unable to respond to your pitch unless you follow the guidelines below exactly.}

Guest Post Guidelines:

Here are two examples of a guest posts that have been published on Wichita Moms Blog: How to Survive the First 6 Months with Multiples and Born in Our Hearts: An Adoption Story

  • Your guest post must be original content and not published elsewhere.
  • Guest posts should be between 400-600 words and proofread for errors before submitting.
  • Along with your post, we’d ask for you to provide any pictures that you’d want to include, and we will select which photo(s) works best.
  • Please provide a bio (100 words or less) and a picture of you (or you with your family) to use at the bottom of your post.
  • Please note: we schedule our editorial calendar out around 2 months in advance. Additionally, please know that in order to support our brand and platform mission, guests posts are selected at our discretion.

    Content published on Wichita Moms Blog (WMB) must be original and not posted anywhere else on the Internet. I am encouraged to share excerpts from my posts on my personal blogs; however, content may not be reposted in its entirety. WMB and City Moms Blog Network (CMBN) have permission to reproduce, distribute and edit my published content. If major edits are required, I will be notified first. My posts may be edited/removed at the discretion of WMB or CMBN. Ownership rights of all content on WMB will be retained by WMB to be used at its discretion. I agree to abide by copyright laws and FTC guidelines when publishing content. This means no content, photos, or videos may be published without written consent from the original author, photographer, or videographer. I will not be compensated for my content that is posted on WMB. No expectation of goods or services is expected. I also understand that submission of my post is no guarantee that it will run on WMB.

We will respond to all pitches that follow the above guidelines within two weeks.
