FALL FESTIVALS IN SEPTEMBER
Derby BBQ Festival
This year’s event will hold host to a beer garden, live music and a smokin’ BBQ cook-off.
Valley Center Fall Festival
My all time favorite family tradition is going home for this Hornet fun filled weekend. This year’s Friday night football game is out of town but we will be up bright and early for the parade, then march all the way to downtown for amusement rides, light shopping, and festival foods!
Greater Andover Days
September 29 – October 1
Your family won’t want to miss KidFest, fishing clinic, ice cream social, oh! and don’t forget the fireworks in Central Park!
FALL FESTIVALS IN OCTOBER
Reaching for the Stars, Goddard
A parade and Lion’s sponsored pancake feed is a fabulous way to start off the Goddard Fall Festival!
Maize Fall Festival
This fun filled weekend complete with food, arts and crafts, car show and parade is hosted by the Lion’s Club. Make sure to check out their website for details on the Amazing Voice Singing Contest!
Haysville Fall Festival
This year Haysville is Falling into Halloween at it’s 33rd Annual Fall Festival. Be on the look out for the first medallion clue on October 1.
After reading about the history of this annual event that began during the Great Depression, I am so excited for this year’s Great Outdoors themed event in Ark City! It promises to have something for those young or old at heart, thrill seeker or front porch rockin’ chair grandma or grandpa! Make the short trip south and I am sure, you won’t be disappointed!
