2016 Mummies’ Night Out | Recap

Tickets sold out in a mere three minutes.

Swag bags were so heavy, they gave us a workout. The food and drink situation was impressive. On Thursday, October 27th, more than 250 moms had a night to themselves to get relax, shop, and get crafty. From start to finish, Mummies Night Out was a roaring good time! The only scary thing about this Halloween-chic event was knowing we have to wait a whole year to do it again!

mummies night out A special thank you to our Co-Title Sponsors, Smith Orthodontics and Martin Pringle Attorneys at Law.

We were all smiles working with Smith Orthodontics‘ knowledgeable team (or should we say, tooth fairies?!). Their “Witch’s Brew” was a delightful mocktail and paired nicely with the gorgeous chocolates they handed out. Moms were gifted with totes from Smith Orthodontics to fill to the brim throughout the night.

mummies night outWe’ve loved working with Martin Pringle’s Adoption and Surrogacy Team and value their years of experience representing and helping local families. They provided unparalleled insight and action for moms and pretty useful swag, too!

It’s the Wichita Boathouse and it’s one of our favorite buildings in Wichita. The venue is stunning, the view is gorgeous, and they went above and beyond to help us show everyone a great night out!

What more could you ask for in a night out, than shopping, pampering, and a little crafting? We had so much fun with all of our table sponsors: Everyday Beaut, Go Time Training, Heartland Women’s Group, Paint the Towne, Paul Mitchell The School, Pottery Barn, Primrose Schools of Wichita, Salon Brands, section37, Viner Chiropractic, European Wax Center, and Love of Character.

“WMB Mummies’ Night out was an incredible time! Sponsors provided great food and drinks. It was one of the best times my friends and I have had for a girl’s night! Loved providing a item for a child for a chance to win some of the best giveaways. Even my hubby is excited, I won the Thunder Hockey Package! Can’t wait for the next event!” -Heather Young, Local Mom2mummies-night-out-123

costumeIt wouldn’t be a Halloween party without a costume contest and we were blown away with the creativity and ensembles! A special thank you to Bling Glamour for  sponsoring the contest and providing a beautiful Kendra Scott necklace for the winner.

Black Tie Celebrations played the best mix of our favorite hits as moms interacted with our sponsors. We had a great time dancing and singing along with our favorite DJ, Sean!

We filled boxes, bags, and totes with comfort items donated by attendees and sponsors. WMB partnered with Child Advocacy Center of Sedwick County and encouraged all attendees to donate an item for the nearly 1,800 victims of physical abuse, sexual abuse, internet crimes, human trafficking and runaways are served yearly by the CACSC and partner agencies. Thank you to all who participated in the initiative.

Many thanks to Love of Character for doing what we cannot – transforming our venue into a page from a magazine. Thanks for taking our vision and making it chic and full of character!
