Last Friday was a lovely, magical morning of make believe.
It was the ideal kickoff to warmer temps, sunny picnics, playful park dates and new mama friendships!
And it was so fun watching the kids make new friends and get into the nature of make believe by dressing up and interacting with the characters.
Tinkerbell and Rosetta the Flower Fairy from Not Just Make Believe Entertainment hosted the special park playdate. They told us stories about their fairy friends, brought us special fairy-dust covered cupcakes and juice, picnicked with the littles and stuck around to play on the swings and slides at the park!
And perfectly capturing the spirit of the morning was Alison Moore Photography.
The fairies also introduced the game of Duck, Duck, Goose.
Because it was quite clear from the get-go that this group had never played before. But that didn’t stop us – the kids had a great time and made up their own set of rules!
And our fairytale friends were more than happy to pose with even the littlest of fans for some pictures, of course. #WMBPlaydate
This was such a fun group and a fantastic way for moms and kids to meet new friends. We even had a few who were brave enough to bring their brand new babies – so there were lots of strollers, baby wearing and exchanging of advice {and sunscreen}.
And we really hope to do it again soon!
A big thank you to Not Just Make Believe Entertainment for making this playdate come to life. Be sure to visit them at the Kids Zone at Wichita Riverfest on weekdays from 4-6 pm and 7-9 pm. They also book private parties , so be sure to check them out!
