November 1: Enjoy story time at Wichita Central Library in both English and Spanish.

November 3-5: Mark Arts is presenting Holiday Tables with decorating and entertaining ideas and tips for the holidays.

November 4: Come join us for Costco Mom Hour

November 5: November is Kansas Reads to Preschoolers Month, and this year’s book is Bear Sees Colors.

November 7: Head to the Great Plains Nature Center to find out what animals truly hibernate, and which ones just take really long naps.

November 9: There is still time for fall fun at Wichita Friends School!

November 12: Celebrate literacy and help Child Start raise money at their Polar Express Literacy Event.

November 14: The Museum of World Treasures has an engaging pilgrim-themed story and activity time planned.

November 17: Enjoy story time with music, movement and a related craft in the Children’s Library of Botanica.

November 18: Your teen may enjoy a night out climbing and hanging out with friends.

November 25-26: Celebrate Winter Art Mania with free admission to Wichita Art Museum.

November 25: Your kids will enjoy decorating a dollhouse MUCH more than fighting the Black Friday crowds.

November 26: I’ll Wait, Mr. Panda is the featured story at Watermark’s Saturday Storytime with Melissa.

Meaghan wears many hats throughout the day: wife to husband of fifteen years, Jeremy, mom to two incredible children, Jacob and Aliza, legal assistant, foster parent, and surrogate. A Wichita native, she met her husband at K-State (Go State!) and they moved from coast (Los Angeles, CA) to coast (Manchester, NH and Groton, CT) before settling back down in Kansas. She is a big fan of her crock pots, has read more than a novel a day for the last five years, and crochets in her “spare” time.
