Food, drinks, attire and more – here’s everything you need to have on hand before The Lorelais’ First Day on Netflix.

Are you hosting newbies and hoping to make converts? Or are you gathering die-hard fans for a Stars Hollow marathon? Narrow down your guest list and send everyone the date. If your crowd is visiting Stars Hollow for the first time, set aside 2-4 hours and start with Season 1, Episode 1.
If your group is comprised of long-time fans, let everyone pick their favorite episode or choose one season to focus on. However, if your plan is binge on all four Netflix episodes of Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, you’ll need a 6-8 hour window carved out of Thanksgiving Weekend.
Of course you don’t need to dress up…but where’s the fun in that? Wear your old school uniform, your favorite Quentin Tarantino-inspired costume, or buy tiaras and pink feather boas for all!

If your Netflix binge starts in the early hours of the morning? Coffee. If you’re going late into the night and need to stay awake? Coffee. If you’re more of a Lorelai, then a gin martini with an olive (not a sidecar) is the drink for you. If you’re a Rory, then go ahead and try a “Rory” – but beware, rumor has it they taste like drinking a My Little Pony. No Gilmore Girls party would be complete without Pop Tarts, Mallomars, burgers from Luke’s and Chinese from Al’s Pancake World. Be sure to throw in some Red Vines for good measure.
