Kids Day Out Programs in Wichita

Kids Day Out Programs are the perfect opportunity for mom to run errands, get some work done, or take a class – alone! Several churches in the area offer these programs which give busy moms extra time to get things done while the kids are in a positive learning environment. Below are a few that readers have suggested!

Location: Eastminster Church, 1958 N Webb Rd. Wichita, KS 67206
Dates: Tuesdays & Wednesdays, Summer: June 6 – July 26, Fall: September 5 – May 9 (with breaks for Thanksgiving, Christmas, Spring Break and Easter)
Ages: 3 months – Kindergarten (summer Tuesdays), 3 months – 3rd grade (summer Wednesdays), 3 months – PreK (fall session)

Enrollment Info: Registration is first come, first served. There is a nonrefundable registration fee of $25 per child for summer Kid’s Day Out and $50 per child for fall Kid’s Day Out. This fee is due with the enrollment form. Once received, it guarantees your child’s spot. Please return enrollment form and registration fee to the Children’s Ministries office at Eastminster Church at 1958 N. Webb Rd, Wichita, KS 67206.

Program Description: Sometimes moms need a few uninterrupted hours to themselves – to run errands, read a book, grab coffee or even just to rest. Kid’s Day Out gives busy moms extra time without active children one morning a week. We welcome kids with the love of Christ to a morning of fun in an energetic learning environment with active and quiet play, time with a dedicated music teacher, crafts, stories, listening time, and even snacks and time for lunch. Summer Kid’s Day Out is Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. Fall Kid’s Day Out is 9:15 a.m. – 1:15 p.m. For more information and to download an enrollment form, visit eastminster.org/kdo.
